Biography

Rabecca Cisneros is currently the Director of Operations at Itineris Early College High School. Previously she served as the Authorizing and School Support Coordinator for the Utah State Charter School Board, a school administrator, a classroom teacher, and a charter school founder. Ms. Cisneros holds an Administrative/Supervisory License, as well as a Level 2 in both Elementary and Secondary Education. She earned both a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Master of Arts in Organizational Development.

Why do you want to serve on the UAPCS Board?

Been serving for past three years would like one more term to continue to support charter schools in the state.

What specific skills and knowledge can you bring to the board?

Experience in various aspects of the charter environment.

Please share your prior governing board experience.

Currently on UAPCS Board and on State Charter School Board (SCSB).

Where do you hope to see the Charter School movement in the next five years? 

Focus on quality choices but also on easier ways to change existing charter.
