UAPCS APPEL (Alternate Pathway to Professional Educator License) is an approved alternative preparation program that leads to a professional license areas in elementary education, secondary education, career and technical education. The UAPCS APPEL program aims to prepare highly qualified educators to promote excellence in education for Utah's public charter schools.

  • Classes are in-person only, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.                                        
  •  Full-day attendance is required for credit.
  • Credit awarded in USBE Altitude after homework completion.                          
  •  Cost: $275 (UAPCS member schools/APPEL participant), $325 (non-UAPCS-member schools).
  • Payment required before attendance.
