Biography

Amy Gibson is passionate about student success and believes education should focus on the whole child through individualized learning, character development, practical life skills, and extracurricular activities.

She earned her B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences from Illinois State University and later completed her Master's in Public Administration from Southern Utah University. After spending 15 years with American Eagle Outfitters, she transitioned into education and now serves as the Development and Compliance Administrator at Gateway Academy.

Amy has been a part of USBE’s Portrait of a Graduate, Portrait of a First-Year Teacher, and the Educator Evaluation Redesign initiatives.
